to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). This controlled thermal environment expertly eliminates excess moisture and efficiently extracts all residual hydrocarbons, while simultaneously
transforming the crystalline structure of the coke. The outcome is a significantly denser material that boasts enhanced electrical conductivity, achieved in just a few hours.
After the calcination process, the petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from a scorching 1350 degrees Celsius to a manageable temperature below 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring it is safe for handling and
ready for transportation. It can then be conveniently moved to storage silos or shipped directly using containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
