Calcium Base Grease Crafted from mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, this exceptional grease is thickened through the use of natural fatty acid calcium soap, delivering reliable performance.
This grease incorporates mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for enhanced effectiveness.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Uniquely, calcium soap and water create hydrates, allowing the formation of highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC. As a result, above this temperature, the grease loses its firmness, limiting its effective temperature range to under 60 ºC. Surpassing this temperature causes the grease to soften significantly, compromising lubrication.
(2) With excellent water resistance, calcium base grease is resilient against emulsification, ensuring durability even in wet environments. It is ideal for lubricating mechanical components that encounter water or moist conditions.
(3) Calcium base grease boasts remarkable shearing stability and thixotropy. Its ability to maintain position on the action surface even after stirring ensures it delivers a sealing effect without dispersal.
(4) Due to its short fiber length and low strength threshold, calcium base grease exhibits superior pumping performance. This characteristic makes it easier to bind than other soap-based greases like sodium-based or aluminum-based options.
When produced to the same consistency using identical mineral oil, calcium-based grease surpasses others in binding ease, setting it apart from sodium or aluminum alternatives.
Despite originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a popular choice globally. Its application in lubricating rolling and sliding bearings under medium speed and load conditions spans diverse industries, including small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
