Calcium base grease This exceptional calcium base grease is expertly crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, thickened to perfection with natural fatty acid calcium soap. The synthesis process of calcium base grease is incredibly meticulous.
Formulated with precision, this grease combines medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil with the synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring optimal performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Thanks to the unique interaction between calcium soap and water, hydrates are formed, allowing calcium soap to create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze at temperatures around 100 ºC, which gradually reduces the consistency of the grease beyond this point. Typically, the effective temperature range does not exceed 60 ºC. Beyond this limit, the grease softens or deteriorates, compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its superior water resistance, calcium base grease stands resilient against emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. Ideal for lubricating various mechanical components, it excels in wet or water-contact environments.
(3) This grease boasts excellent shear and thixotropy stability. When stirred and then left undisturbed, it reliably remains on the action surface, providing a sealing effect without dislodging.
(4) Featuring exceptional pumping performance thanks to its short fiber composition and low strength threshold, this grease outshines other soap-based greases (like sodium or aluminum-based) in ease of binding with the same mineral oil and consistency.
Compared to other soap-based greases, calcium-based grease binds more effectively, offering superior performance with the same mineral oil and consistency.
Despite originating from the 1930s, this calcium-based grease remains a global staple, widely utilized for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings at medium speeds and loads. It finds its purpose in small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, cars, metallurgy, textile machinery, and beyond.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
