Crafted with precision, calcined petroleum coke starts from premium raw 'green' petroleum coke. This raw material is subjected to the intense heat of rotary kilns, reaching temperatures of 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These elevated temperatures meticulously eliminate excess moisture, eradicate every trace of hydrocarbons, and
transform the crystalline structure of the coke. This transformation results in a denser, more electrically conductive product, all within a matter of hours.
Rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to a manageable 200 degrees C, calcined petroleum coke then becomes safe for handling and
is ready for transport to storage silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----Calcined petroleum coke is predominantly employed in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum production, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and as a versatile fuel.
