Crafted from premium raw 'green' petroleum coke, our Calcined Petroleum Coke undergoes a transformative process in rotary kilns, where it is subjected to high temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). This intense heat treatment effectively eliminates excess moisture, expels all remaining hydrocarbons, and
alters the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product, achieved within mere hours,
as the calcined petroleum coke cools down from 1350 degrees Celsius to under 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and
ready for transportation to storage facilities or direct shipping via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----Primarily, calcined petroleum coke is utilized in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum production, as well as carbonizers in the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and fuel applications.
