Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by placing premium quality raw "green" petroleum coke into sophisticated rotary kilns, where it is expertly heated to precise temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). At these elevated temperatures, excess moisture is effectively eliminated, and all residual hydrocarbons are meticulously extracted.
The intense heat treatment also modifies the crystalline structure of the coke, transforming it into a denser and exceptionally more electrically conductive product. Within just a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to a manageable temperature of less than 200 degrees C, ensuring it is safe for handling and
ready for transportation to storage silos or immediate dispatch into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels with seamless efficiency.
