Calcined Petroleum Coke
This premium-grade graphite product is crafted by processing high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke in rotary kilns. These kilns elevate the material to remarkable temperatures ranging from 1200 to
a scorching 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These intense conditions are specifically designed to effectively eradicate any excess moisture, completely purify hydrocarbons, and
transform the coke's crystalline structure. The result is an exceptionally dense material that exhibits enhanced electrical conductivity, all achieved within mere hours.
After reaching 1350 degrees C, the calcined petroleum coke undergoes rapid cooling, bringing it down to a manageable and safe temperature below 200 degrees C.
This ensures that it is ready for secure handling and quick transportation to various destinations, including storage silos, shipping containers, or directly into trucks, railcars, barges, and large vessels.
---- The extensive usability of calcined petroleum coke spans multiple industries. It plays a crucial role in creating prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum production, serves as a carbonizing agent in the carbon industry, is essential for graphite electrodes, aids in the smelting of industrial silicon, and serves as an efficient fuel source.

3.Industry Field: Perfect for brake pads, seal rings, friction plates, heat exchangers, and provides exceptional lubricity across various industrial applications.
4.Battery Production: Utilized as a key component in alkaline battery cathodes and lithium ion battery cathodes, ensuring high performance and reliability.
5.Others: Versatile for crafting glass sheets, pencil leads, clay bricks, and conductive coatings, offering enhanced conductivity and durability.
Casting, cast iron, and cast steel industries require carbon to enhance their processes. Carburants are crucial in increasing carbon content in liquid iron, typically when smelting pig iron, scrap steel, and furnace charges. While pig iron has high carbon content, its cost is relatively high. By incorporating scrap supplies and reducing pig iron, the use of carbon agents can effectively lower casting costs and improve efficiency.
Calcined Petroleum Coke is predominantly utilized in metallurgy and foundry applications. It significantly boosts carbon content in steel melting and casting, enabling the increased use of scrap steel while reducing pig iron dependence, or even eliminating the need for scrap iron. Additionally, it serves as an essential component in brake pedals and friction materials, enhancing performance and longevity.
