Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted using mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, enhanced by the natural fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in a synthesized calcium base grease.
The formulation includes mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, thickened by the advanced synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance characteristics
(1) Due to the unique interaction between calcium soap and water, hydrates are formed, enabling highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these hydrates start to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, leading to a gradual consistency loss of the calcium base grease beyond this temperature. This limits its operational temperature range to typically 60 ºC or lower. Surpassing this temperature causes softening or even complete breakdown, compromising lubrication.
(2) Calcium base grease exhibits excellent water resistance, maintaining its integrity without emulsifying or deteriorating in water exposure. Ideal for lubricating mechanical parts in wet conditions or those exposed to water.
(3) This grease boasts superior shearing stability and thixotropy stability. It remains on contact surfaces even after agitation, offering a sealing effect and reducing the risk of displacement.
(4) The grease demonstrates exceptional pumping performance thanks to its short fiber length and low strength limit, making it more cohesive compared to other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum variants.
Achieving the same consistency, calcium-based grease binds more effectively, enhancing its application versatility.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains globally popular, perfectly suited for lubricating medium-speed, load-bearing components in motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
