Calcium base grease is crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, enhanced with natural fatty acid calcium soap, synthesizing to form calcium base grease.
Our calcium base grease is meticulously formulated with medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, enriched by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique interaction of calcium soap with water results in the formation of hydrates; this interaction allows calcium soap to create highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. However, at approximately 100 ºC, these hydrates hydrolyze, causing a reduction in consistency beyond 100 ºC and thus limiting the effective temperature range to generally below 60 ºC. Exceeding this temperature might lead to the grease becoming soft or ineffective, compromising its lubricating efficacy.
(2) Exhibiting impressive water resistance, calcium base grease remains stable and does not easily emulsify or deteriorate when exposed to water. It is ideal for lubricating machinery components that operate in wet environments or come into contact with water.
(3) Noteworthy for its shearing and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease maintains its presence on surfaces, even after being agitated. This quality ensures a reliable sealing effect, with no displacement or throw-out.
(4) Due to its short fiber and low strength threshold, calcium base grease boasts exceptional pumping performance. When maintaining the same consistency with identical mineral oil,
it binds more efficiently than other soap-based greases, such as those based on sodium or aluminum, making it a superior choice.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium base grease remains a globally popular choice. It is frequently employed for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings operating at medium speed and load, across a variety of equipment including small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
