Calcium Base Grease: The Cornerstone of Reliable Lubrication Our calcium base grease is expertly crafted using mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, thickened with natural fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in a superior synthesis of calcium-based grease.
Expertly formulated from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, our grease is thickened with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap to ensure optimal performance.
Performance Characteristics:
(1) Due to the interaction between calcium soap and water, hydrates form, allowing calcium soap to create highly dispersed fibers within the mineral oil. These hydrates start to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, causing the grease to lose consistency above this temperature. This characteristic restricts the effective temperature range to a maximum of 60 ºC, beyond which the grease may become too soft, compromising lubrication.
(2) This grease showcases excellent water resistance, maintaining stability without emulsifying or deteriorating when exposed to water. Ideal for lubricating mechanical parts in moist or water-contact environments.
(3) Outstanding shearing stability and thixotropy stability define this grease. Even after agitation, it remains on surfaces, creating a sealing effect without spillage.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium base grease boasts excellent pumping performance. When compared to other soap-based greases, it binds more effectively.
When produced with the same mineral oil and consistency, calcium-based grease outperforms sodium-based or aluminum-based greases in ease of binding.
Despite being developed in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally popular choice. It is perfect for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in applications like small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
