Our exceptional Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by introducing superior quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into state-of-the-art rotary kilns. These kilns operate at scorching temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). This intense heat treatment effectively eradicates excess moisture and strips away remaining hydrocarbons.
This transformative process alters the crystalline structure of the coke, delivering a product that is not only denser but also boasts enhanced electrical conductivity, all within a matter of hours.
Following this transformation, the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from a fiery 1350 degrees C to a manageable and safe temperature below 200 degrees C.
Once cooled, it is ready to be securely stored in silos or directly dispatched into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for global distribution.
