This robust carbon block is meticulously roasted, ensuring a stable geometric structure, earning its name as the pre-baked anode carbon block, or simply, the carbon anode for aluminum electrolysis.
This pre-baked anode stands as a cornerstone in the production of electrolytic aluminum. For every ton of electrolytic aluminum produced, approximately 0.5 tons of pre-baked anode is consumed. As the conductive heart of the electrolytic cell, it not only facilitates the electrochemical process but is also crucial to the economic efficiency of aluminum production. Its role is indispensable in today's aluminum smelting operations.
