Our high-quality Calcined Petroleum Coke is created by heating superior raw 'green' petroleum coke in rotary kilns at temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). These elevated temperatures ensure the removal of excess moisture, the extraction of all remaining hydrocarbons, and
the modification of the coke's crystalline structure. This process results in a denser and more electrically conductive product. Within hours,
calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to under 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and
transport. It can then be moved to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers in the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and fuels.
