to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). This rigorous thermal treatment eliminates excess moisture, vaporizes all residual hydrocarbons, and
refines the crystalline structure of the coke, resulting in a denser and more electrically conductive material. Within hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from peaks of 1350 degrees C to below 200 degrees C, ensuring it is safe to handle and
ready for transportation. It is then efficiently stored in silos or immediately dispatched into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
