Calcined Petroleum Coke
Crafted from the finest raw 'green' petroleum coke, this exceptional product undergoes a meticulous transformation in rotary kilns, where it is exposed to searing temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). At these elevated temperatures, every trace of moisture is effectively eradicated, and all residual hydrocarbons are expertly extracted,
while the crystalline structure of the coke is artfully modified. The result is a product of superior density and enhanced electrical conductivity, achieved within a matter of hours.
Once the calcination process is complete, the coke is rapidly cooled from its peak temperature of 1350 degrees C to a manageable less than 200 degrees C, ensuring safe handling and
facilitating its seamless transition into storage silos. Alternatively, it can be directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for prompt distribution.
