The production process predominantly involves high-temperature retorting, utilizing advanced large-scale coke oven technology. These ovens feature carbonization chambers exceeding 6.0m in height and volumes surpassing 38.5m³. Metallurgical coke is integral to the blast furnace ironmaking and casting industries.

The main purpose of coke:

1. Metallurgical coke is a cornerstone in coking processes, with over 90% usage in blast furnace ironmaking. It has revolutionized iron smelting, replacing charcoal, and has been pivotal in the modernization of large blast furnaces, marking a significant milestone in metallurgy history.

2. Our coke is essential for casting and smelting non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, titanium, and antimony. It acts as a reducing agent, heat agent, and provides structural support in the form of a column skeleton.

3. In the smelting industry, our coke is crucial for producing calcium carbide, carbon disulfide, phosphorus, and other elements. Steel joint ventures utilize coke powder as a sintering fuel, and it also serves as a raw material in water gas production for synthesis.

4. To optimize blast furnace operations, smelting coke (metallurgical coke) must possess specific chemical and physical properties, including superior thermal properties essential for the smelting process.
