Calcium base grease Calcium base grease is meticulously crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap, a synthesis that ensures optimal performance.
This superior grease is formulated using mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, enhanced by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap to deliver exceptional stability and performance.
Performance characteristics
(1) Due to the formation of hydrates with calcium soap and water, only as hydrates can calcium soap develop highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. The hydrates decompose around 100 ºC, causing a gradual loss of consistency above this threshold, restricting calcium base grease's temperature range to below 60 ºC. Beyond this, it may soften or deteriorate, compromising lubrication.
(2) Calcium base grease excels in water resistance, remaining stable and non-emulsified even in wet environments or water exposure, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical components in such conditions.
(3) Exhibiting excellent shearing stability and thixotropy, calcium base grease maintains its presence on surfaces even after agitation, offering a sealing effect without displacement.
(4) Boasting superior pumping performance due to its short fibers and low strength threshold, calcium base grease ensures efficiency and reliability.
When maintaining identical consistency, calcium-based grease is more cohesive compared to other soap-based greases, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based options.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a prevalent choice worldwide, effectively lubricating rolling and sliding bearings at medium speeds and loads in diverse machinery including motors, water pumps, tractors, vehicles, metallurgy, and textile equipment.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
