Calcium Base Grease Calcium base grease is crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap. This esteemed calcium base grease is expertly synthesized to offer superior lubrication.
This remarkable product is formulated with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring unmatched performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique nature of calcium soap allows it to form hydrates with water, enabling highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil when in hydrate form. However, these hydrates undergo hydrolysis at around 100 ºC, which results in a progressive loss of consistency for the calcium base grease beyond this temperature, thus restricting its effective temperature range. Typically, it performs best below 60 ºC. Surpassing this threshold causes the grease to soften or degrade, compromising lubrication efficiency.
(2) With outstanding water resistance, calcium base grease is unlikely to emulsify or degrade when exposed to water. It is ideal for lubricating mechanical components operating in wet environments or in direct contact with water.
(3) Calcium base grease excels in shearing and thixotropy stability. Even after agitation, it remains steadfast on the surface, providing a sealing effect that maintains lubrication without displacement.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium base grease boasts excellent pumping performance. When utilizing the same mineral oil,
and achieving identical consistency, it binds more readily than other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum-based alternatives.
Despite being a classic from the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a globally favored choice today. It is superb for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings at medium speeds and loads in devices like small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, cars, and equipment in metallurgy and textile sectors.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
