Calcined Petroleum Coke

Our premium Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by subjecting top-tier raw "green" petroleum coke to the meticulous heat of rotary kilns. It is exposed to temperatures ranging from 1200

to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These intense levels of heat effectively eliminate excess moisture, removing all residual hydrocarbons and

transforming the coke's crystalline structure. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within just hours,

calcined petroleum coke is reduced in temperature from a scorching 1350 degrees C to below 200 degrees C, making it safe for handling and

ready for transportation. It can be securely stored in silos or dispatched directly into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.



----Calcined petroleum coke's primary applications include its use in prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum. It also serves as a crucial carbonizer for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and as a potent fuel.

----In the primary aluminum industry, calcined petroleum coke is indispensable; it also finds significant application in the steel industry as a recarburizing agent. Beyond these, it is pivotal in producing titanium dioxide, a pigment essential for paint, plastics, sunscreens, and food coloring.
