Calcium Base Grease This exceptional lubricant is crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, thickened with naturally derived fatty acid calcium soap, synthesizing into premium-grade calcium base grease.
Meticulously formulated with medium viscosity mineral oil, this grease utilizes synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for superior performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The formation of hydrates from calcium soap and water allows calcium soap to create finely dispersed fibers within mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze at temperatures around 100 ºC, which eventually leads to a decline in the grease's consistency beyond 100 ºC. Consequently, the operational temperature range for calcium base grease typically does not exceed 60 ºC. Any temperature surpassing this threshold may result in the grease softening or deteriorating, thus compromising lubrication efficacy.
(2) With outstanding water resistance, calcium base grease does not easily emulsify or break down in the presence of water, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical parts exposed to moisture or direct water contact.
(3) Boasting excellent shearing stability and thixotropic properties, calcium base grease maintains its presence on active surfaces even after agitation, delivering a protective seal without dispersing.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber structure and low strength threshold, calcium base grease offers superior pumping capabilities compared to other soap-based greases.
When aiming for the same consistency, it integrates more readily than sodium or aluminum-based alternatives.
Despite originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a globally popular choice, effectively lubricating rolling and sliding bearings under medium speed and load conditions. It finds extensive use in small and medium-scale motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
