Calcined Petroleum Coke
Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by subjecting superior quality raw 'green' petroleum coke to an advanced rotary kiln process. It is heated to temperatures ranging from 1200
to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit). This high-temperature treatment effectively eliminates excess moisture and residual hydrocarbons,
while also expertly refining the crystalline structure of the coke. This results in a product that is significantly denser and possesses enhanced electrical conductivity. In just a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to a manageable temperature of less than 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and
ready for transport. This high-quality product can be efficiently stored in silos or dispatched directly into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The primary applications of calcined petroleum coke include its use in prebaked anodes and anode pastes essential for electrolytic aluminum production, as well as carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, and smelting of industrial silicon. It is also a valuable fuel source.

Application:
1.Metallurgy: Perfect for casting in various advanced manufacturing processes such as glass production, graphite crucibles, and serving as anodes in the aluminium smelting industry.
2.Steel Foundry: Essential as a carburant, it contributes to the creation of graphite electrodes and refractory materials, ensuring superior performance and efficiency.
3.Industry Field: A pivotal material in the production of brake pads, seal rings, friction plates, heat exchangers, and enhancing lubricity for industrial applications.
4.Battery Production: Integral in crafting high-performance alkaline battery cathodes and lithium-ion battery cathodes, driving cutting-edge battery technology.
5.Others: Versatile in its application to glass sheets, pencil leads, clay bricks, and conductive coatings, showcasing its adaptability across industries.
Casting, whether in cast iron or cast steel formats, demands high carbon content. Carburant plays a vital role in elevating carbon levels in liquid iron. Typically used in smelting furnace charges with pig iron, scrap steel, and returned furnace charge, where pig iron, despite its high carbon content, comes at a premium. By incorporating scrap supply and carbon agents, it's possible to lower the need for pig iron, thus significantly reducing casting costs and enhancing efficiency.
Calcined Petroleum Coke is predominantly utilized in the realms of metallurgy and foundry work. It excels at enriching the carbon content in both steel-melting and casting processes. This advancement not only boosts the volume of scrap steel used but also diminishes the reliance on pig iron, facilitating scenarios where no scrap iron is necessary. Additionally, it finds application in the production of brake pedals and friction materials, highlighting its versatile utility.
