to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). Such extreme temperatures are instrumental in eradicating excess moisture and eliminating all residual hydrocarbons.
Moreover, this process refines the crystalline structure of the coke, culminating in a product that is notably denser and exhibits superior electrical conductivity, all achieved within mere hours.
Post-treatment, calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring it reaches a state that is safe for handling.
Once cooled, it is primed for transportation, ready to be stored in silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for delivery.
