to an impressive 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). At these elevated temperatures, excess moisture is effectively removed, all residual hydrocarbons are meticulously extracted,
and the coke's crystalline structure is skillfully modified. This transformation results in a product that boasts increased density and enhanced electrical conductivity, all achieved within a few short hours.
Once calcined, petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from a searing 1350 degrees C to a manageable temperature below 200 degrees C, ensuring it is safe for handling and
ready for transport. It is then efficiently transferred to storage silos or seamlessly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels for distribution.
