Calcium Base Grease This high-performance grease is crafted from medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, elegantly thickened with natural fatty acid calcium soap. Additionally, it is synthesized with the utmost care.
Produced with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, this grease is expertly thickened using synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the formation of hydrates between calcium soap and water, calcium soap achieves high dispersion in mineral oil only in the form of these hydrates. However, hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, leading to a gradual loss of consistency above this temperature. Consequently, the operational temperature range of calcium base grease is limited to 60 ºC or below. Exceeding this threshold can result in the grease becoming soft or losing its effectiveness, thus compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its superior water resistance, calcium base grease excels in preventing emulsification and degradation even in aqueous environments. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical components exposed to moisture or water.
(3) The grease exhibits exceptional shearing stability and thixotropy stability—when agitated and then left to settle, it maintains its presence on the surface, ensuring a sealing effect without spillage.
(4) With its short fiber structure and minimal strength limit, calcium base grease boasts remarkable pumping performance, often outperforming other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum-based varieties.
This characteristic eases the binding process compared to other soap-based greases (such as sodium-based or aluminum-based).
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally favored choice for lubricating medium-speed and load bearings in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
