Calcium Base Grease: Traditional Excellence Meets Modern Demand Derived from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, this grease is enhanced by thickening it with natural fatty acid calcium soap. As a result, synthesized calcium base grease emerges as a superior choice.
This formulation combines mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity with synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring reliable performance.
Performance Characteristics: Redefining Lubrication Standards
(1) The calcium soap's ability to form hydrates with water is pivotal, as only in this hydrated form can it create highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. However, these hydrates undergo hydrolysis at approximately 100 ºC, causing calcium base grease to lose its consistency beyond this point, thus restricting its operational temperature range to below 60 ºC. Exceeding this threshold leads to the grease becoming soft or even breaking down, compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its remarkable water resistance, calcium base grease defies emulsification and deterioration even when exposed to water. Its capacity to lubricate various mechanical components in moist environments or during water contact is exceptional.
(3) With outstanding shearing and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease remains steadfast on active surfaces, providing a sealing effect without being dispelled, even after agitation.
(4) Its short fiber structure and low strength limit confer excellent pumping performance. When utilizing identical mineral oil and achieving the same consistency, calcium-based grease exhibits superior binding efficiency compared to other soap-based greases, such as sodium or aluminum-based variants.
This ease of binding makes calcium-based grease a preferred choice over its sodium-based or aluminum-based counterparts.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease persists as a globally favored option. It effectively lubricates rolling and sliding bearings operating at medium speeds and loads, across small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgical equipment, textile machinery, and more.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
