CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our premium Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously produced by placing high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into rotary kilns, where it undergoes a transformative heating process.
This process involves subjecting the petroleum coke to elevated temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit).
Through these high temperatures, excessive moisture is eliminated, all residual hydrocarbons are extracted, and the crystalline structure of the coke is modified. This results in a denser, more electrically conductive product ideal for various industrial applications. Calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and subsequent transport to storage silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
