Coke, Our Foundry Metallurgical Coke is meticulously crafted using premier coking coal known for its strong bonding characteristics, such as coking coal and fertilizer coal. The production process involves coal blending to enhance quality. Our coke is produced using advanced high-temperature retorting techniques, leveraging state-of-the-art large-sized coke ovens. These ovens feature carbonization chambers over 6.0m in height and volumes exceeding 38.5m3. This superior coke is predominantly utilized in metallurgical industries, particularly for blast furnace ironmaking and casting applications.

The Main Purpose of Coke:

1. The preeminent product of coking, with over 90% of coke globally utilized in blast furnace ironmaking. Coke has revolutionized iron smelting by replacing charcoal, marking a significant milestone in metallurgical history and underpinning the development of modern large blast furnaces.

2. Essential for the smelting of various non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, titanium, and antimony in blast furnaces. Coke serves as a reducing agent, heat agent, and supports the structural integrity of the column.

3. In the smelting industry, coke facilitates the production of calcium carbide, carbon disulfide, phosphorus, and other elements. It's also crucial in steel joint ventures for sintering processes. Additionally, coke acts as a raw material for synthesizing water gas, which is further used for various synthesis applications.

4. To optimize the technical and economic performance of blast furnace operations, smelting coke (metallurgical coke) must possess specific chemical and physical properties, including thermal characteristics essential for the smelting process.

5. Beyond its extensive use in iron and non-ferrous metal smelting (metallurgical coke), coke is indispensable in casting, chemical production, calcium carbide manufacturing, and ferroalloy production.
