Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, thickened by the natural fatty acid calcium soap. Furthermore, calcium base grease is synthesized
using mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, enhanced by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the formation of hydrates with calcium soap and water, calcium soap only forms highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil as hydrates. These hydrates can hydrolyze at around 100 ºC, which leads to a gradual loss of consistency in calcium base grease above this temperature. Hence, its operational temperature typically does not exceed 60 ºC. Surpassing this threshold may cause the grease to soften or even dissipate, compromising lubrication.
(2) With superior water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation upon water exposure, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical components operating in moist environments or water contact.
(3) The grease boasts excellent shearing stability and thixotropy, allowing it to remain adhered to operational surfaces even when agitated, thus ensuring a sealing effect without dispersing.
(4) Its adept pumping performance, attributed to short fibers and a low strength limit, ensures that calcium-based grease binds more efficiently compared to other soap-based greases, like sodium or aluminum-based.
Achieving the same consistency as other greases, calcium-based varieties offer superior binding capabilities.
Although originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally preferred variety today, suited for lubricating medium-speed and medium-load rolling or sliding bearings across diverse equipment such as small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
