Our Premium Calcined Petroleum Coke 1-5mm is ingeniously crafted by placing superior quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into advanced rotary kilns. These kilns meticulously heat the coke to an extraordinary range of 1200
to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). This intense heating process eliminates excess moisture, thoroughly removes all remaining hydrocarbons, and
transforms the crystalline structure of the coke. As a result, we obtain a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to below 200 degrees C. This rapid cooling ensures it is safe to handle and
ready for storage or immediate transportation. It can be conveniently shipped via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The principal applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and as a fuel source.

By adding scrap, reducing the amount of pig iron, and incorporating a carbon agent, casting costs can be effectively reduced.
