CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by placing high-quality raw "green" petroleum coke into advanced rotary kilns. Within these kilns, the coke is subjected to intense heat
reaching temperatures of 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to
2460 degrees Fahrenheit). These extreme conditions effectively eliminate excess moisture, extract all remaining hydrocarbons, and transform the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. In just a few hours, calcined petroleum coke is cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and transportation to storage silos or direct shipping in containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
