Therefore, foundry coke must exhibit the features of being a big block with low activity, minimal porosity, sufficient anti-crush strength, and both low ash and low sulfur content. Beyond the premium characteristics of ash 10% foundry coke, the special grade ash 8% foundry coke offers the unique advantages of ultra-low ash, sulfur, and low apparent porosity. This specialized casting coke is primarily intended for export and is ideally suited for precision casting applications.
