Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, enhanced by the addition of natural fatty acid calcium soap. This calcium base grease is meticulously synthesized to offer optimal performance.
This grease is expertly formulated with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring superior lubrication efficiency.
Performance characteristics
(1) The unique property of calcium soap forming hydrates with water allows it to create highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil in hydrate form. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, which restricts the effective temperature range. The grease gradually loses its consistency above this threshold, limiting its optimal usage to temperatures under 60 ºC. Exceeding this range results in the grease softening or even breaking down, compromising lubrication.
(2) Known for its exceptional water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. It is ideal for lubrication in wet environments and components in contact with water, offering reliable performance.
(3) With remarkable shearing and thixotropy stability, calcium base grease maintains its presence on contact surfaces. Even after agitation, it stays put, ensuring a sealing effect without being displaced.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber structure and low strength limit, calcium base grease boasts excellent pumping performance. Compared to other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum-based variants, it binds more efficiently at similar consistency levels.
This efficiency makes calcium-based grease a superior choice over other soap-based greases such as sodium-based or aluminum-based options.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally popular choice. We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
