Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique property of calcium soap to form hydrates with water is pivotal. Only as hydrates can calcium soap develop finely dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these hydrates undergo hydrolysis around 100 ºC, causing a gradual loss of consistency above this temperature - hence, restricting the temperature range of calcium base grease. Typically, it should not surpass 60 ºC. Exceeding this threshold makes the grease soften and potentially degrade, compromising lubrication.
(2) Remarkably, calcium base grease exhibits excellent water resistance, making it resistant to emulsification and degradation in watery environments. It effectively lubricates various mechanical components exposed to water or operating in humid conditions.
(3) Boasting excellent shearing and thixotropy stability, calcium base grease maintains its place on the action surface during and after agitation, creating a sealing effect without splattering.
(4) Its superior pumping performance is attributed to its short fiber structure and low strength limit, making it more efficient compared to other soap-based greases.
When achieving the same consistency, calcium-based grease binds more easily than sodium-based or aluminum-based variants.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a globally popular choice. It's extensively used to lubricate rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed, medium-load applications across small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
