These kilns elevate temperatures to a range between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (219
2 to 2460°F), efficiently expelling excess moisture and residual hydrocarbons, while transforming the crystalline structure. This high-temperature process yields a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within mere hours, the coke is cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring safe handling and ready transportation. It can then be transferred to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
