Introduction:
Calcium Base Grease is formulated from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap, and synthesized to perfection.
Crafted meticulously with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, this grease is thickened using synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics
(1) When calcium soap and water unite, they form hydrates. It is only in these hydrate forms that calcium soap can create highly dispersed fibers within mineral oil. However, these hydrates of calcium soap begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC. This is the reason behind the gradual loss of consistency in calcium base grease above this temperature, limiting its efficacy. Generally, its optimal temperature should not exceed 60 ºC. Beyond this, the grease becomes soft or may even disintegrate, compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease avoids emulsification and deterioration even in contact with water. It is ideal for lubricating various mechanical parts operating in damp environments or direct water exposure.
(3) With outstanding shearing stability and thixotropy, calcium base grease remains steadfast on surfaces during operation. Even after agitation, it retains its position, providing a sealing effect without dispersing.
(4) Boasting superior pumping performance due to its short fiber and low strength limit, calcium base grease, when formulated to the same consistency with identical mineral oil,
is more cohesive than other varieties such as sodium-based or aluminum-based greases.
Despite being an established variety since the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains extensively used globally. It is perfect for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings subjected to medium speed and load in appliances such as small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, as well as in metallurgy and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
