Calcium base grease is ingeniously crafted using mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in the synthesis of remarkably effective calcium base grease.
Composed with precision, it features mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring optimal performance.
Performance characteristics
(1) The synergy between calcium soap and water forms hydrates, enabling calcium soap to establish highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. These hydrate structures begin to hydrolyze at approximately 100 ºC, which leads to a gradual softening of the calcium base grease as temperatures rise above 100 ºC, thereby restricting its effective temperature range. Optimal performance is achieved below 60 ºC, beyond which the grease may become too soft, compromising lubrication efficiency.
(2) With outstanding water resistance, calcium base grease maintains its integrity, resisting emulsification and deterioration even when exposed to water. It is ideal for lubricating mechanical components in moist environments or those with direct water contact.
(3) Showcasing excellent shearing and thixotropy stability, calcium base grease remains adhered to surfaces even after motion, providing a reliable sealing effect without splattering.
(4) Exhibiting exceptional pumping performance due to its short fiber structure and low strength limit, making it more adaptable and easier to bind compared to other soap-based greases like sodium or aluminum-based varieties.
When maintaining consistent mineral oil usage, calcium-based grease offers superior binding capabilities compared to its counterparts.
Despite its inception dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains globally prevalent, effectively lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed, medium-load applications, including small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, and machinery in metallurgy and textiles.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
