Introduction:
Calcium Base Grease is expertly crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, meticulously thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap, and further synthesized into calcium base grease.
It is manufactured from mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, enhanced by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap to achieve superior quality.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Due to the formation of hydrates between calcium soap and water, only as hydrates can calcium soap create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. These hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, which is why the consistency of calcium base grease diminishes above this temperature, imposing a limit on its temperature range to typically not exceed 60 ºC. Surpassing this temperature results in a softening or complete loss of the grease, compromising lubrication efficiency.
(2) Calcium base grease exhibits excellent water resistance, demonstrating resilience against emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. It is ideal for lubricating a variety of mechanical components operating in wet environments or in direct contact with water.
(3) With remarkable shearing stability and thixotropic properties, calcium base grease maintains its presence on operational surfaces even after agitation, providing a reliable sealing effect without displacement.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber structure and low strength threshold, calcium base grease showcases excellent pumping performance. When crafted to the same consistency using identical mineral oil,
calcium-based grease proves to be more easily cohesive compared to other soap-based greases, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based options.
Despite originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally prevalent choice today. It serves effectively in lubricating rolling and sliding bearings under medium speed and load conditions in various applications, including small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
