Introduction:
Calcium base grease is expertly crafted from mineral lubricating oil featuring medium viscosity, which is meticulously thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap. The synthesis of calcium base grease involves a delicate process.
It is expertly formulated with mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, enhanced by the thickening power of synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance Characteristics:
(1) Thanks to the unique interaction between calcium soap and water that leads to the formation of hydrates, calcium soap can create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil only in this form. However, these hydrates hydrolyze at around 100 ºC, which explains why calcium base grease gradually loses its consistency beyond this temperature, restricting its effective temperature range to typically below 60 ºC. Surpassing this limit may result in the grease softening or even deteriorating, compromising lubrication quality.
(2) Renowned for its excellent water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical components operating in wet conditions or those in direct contact with water.
(3) Calcium base grease boasts impressive shearing and thixotropic stability, ensuring that even after agitation, the grease remains firmly on the application surface, providing a sealing effect without dispersing.
(4) Thanks to its short fibers and low yield strength, calcium base grease offers exceptional pumping performance. Even when the same mineral oil and consistency are employed,
calcium-based grease binds more readily than other soap-based greases, such as those based on sodium or aluminum.
Although originating in the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a widely favored choice globally. It is ideal for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, and textile machinery, operating at medium speeds and loads.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
