CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our Premium Quality Calcined Petroleum Coke is crafted through a meticulous process. High-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke is placed into rotary kilns and subjected to intense heating.
It is heated to exacting temperatures between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit),
ensuring all excess moisture and residual hydrocarbons are eradicated. This high-temperature treatment enhances the crystalline structure, making the coke denser and more electrically conductive. Within hours, the material cools from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe to handle and transport to storage or shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or ships.
