CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our premium calcined petroleum coke is meticulously crafted by placing high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into rotary kilns, where it undergoes a precise heating process.
The temperature within these kilns ranges between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to
2460 degrees Fahrenheit). This intense heat ensures the removal of excess moisture, the extraction of remaining hydrocarbons, and the modification of the coke's crystalline structure. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours, the calcined petroleum coke is cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and transportation. It is then ready for storage in silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
