Calcium Base Grease: The Unsung Hero of Lubrication This remarkable lubricant is crafted from mineral lubricating oil, artfully thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in synthesized calcium base grease.
The superior formulation involves medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, enhanced by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring reliable performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The magic of calcium soap lies in its ability to form hydrates with water, creating highly dispersed fibers within the mineral oil. However, these hydrates hydrolyze at around 100 ºC, causing the grease to lose consistency beyond this threshold. This chemical reaction limits optimal performance to temperatures not exceeding 60 ºC, as surpassing this can lead to the grease becoming soft or even ineffective, thus compromising lubrication.
(2) Boasting excellent water resistance, calcium base grease defies emulsification and degradation, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical parts in wet or water-prone environments.
(3) With outstanding shearing and thixotropy stability, this grease clings to surfaces even when agitated, ensuring a lasting seal that remains intact without being flung off.
(4) Thanks to its short fibers and low strength limit, calcium base grease excels in pumping performance. By maintaining the same consistency and utilizing the same mineral oil,
it demonstrates superior binding capabilities compared to other soap-based greases, such as sodium or aluminum-based variants.
Despite its origins dating back to the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a stalwart in the lubrication world. It is perfectly suited for rolling and sliding bearings operating at medium speed and load in small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, textile machinery, and beyond.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
