Our Calcined Petroleum Coke is crafted from premium raw 'green' petroleum coke, meticulously placed into rotary kilns. There, it is subjected to elevated temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 degrees Fahrenheit).
These extreme temperatures effectively eliminate excess moisture and extract any lingering hydrocarbons while
transforming the coke's crystalline structure. This process culminates in a denser, more electrically conductive product within a matter of hours.
After reaching 1350 degrees Celsius, the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled to below 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring safety for handling and
making it ready for transportation to storage silos. Alternatively, it can be directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----The principal applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers in the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, silicon smelting, and as a fuel source.
