to 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). This intense heat treatment not only purges unwanted moisture but also effectively extracts all residual hydrocarbons and
alters the crystalline structure of the coke. This results in a product that is far denser and possesses superior electrical conductivity. Within a few hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is cooled efficiently from 1350 degrees C down to a manageable temperature of less than 200 degrees C, ensuring it is safely handled and
ready for transport. It can then be stored in silos or immediately dispatched in shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
