to a blazing 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These elevated temperatures effectively eradicate excess moisture and completely eliminate all remaining hydrocarbons, while
transforming the crystalline structure of the coke. This process results in a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours,
this calcined petroleum coke is skillfully cooled from 1350 degrees C to a manageable temperature below 200 degrees C, allowing it to be safely handled and
transported effortlessly to storage silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
