Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. This calcium base grease is meticulously synthesized to ensure top-notch performance.
It is composed of mineral lubricating oil, with medium viscosity, thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring exceptional quality.
Performance characteristics
(1) Due to the unique interaction between calcium soap and water, they form hydrates, which enable calcium soap to develop highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these fibers begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, leading to a gradual loss of consistency in calcium base grease beyond that temperature, thus restricting its effective range to generally not more than 60 ºC. Surpassing this threshold makes the grease softer and unreliable for lubrication.
(2) Calcium base grease boasts superior water resistance, maintaining its integrity without emulsifying or degrading upon contact with water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical components in wet or water-exposed environments.
(3) Exhibiting outstanding shearing and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease adheres firmly to action surfaces even after agitation, ensuring a sealing effect that prevents dispersal.
(4) Thanks to its short fibers and low strength threshold, calcium base grease demonstrates excellent pumpability. When utilizing the same mineral oil,
and achieving the same consistency, calcium-based grease binds more efficiently than other soap-based greases, such as sodium-based or aluminum-based variants.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a widely-utilized solution globally. It serves as an effective lubricant for rolling and sliding bearings operating at moderate speeds and loads in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, textile machinery, and more.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
