Calcium Base Grease This exceptional grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, skilfully thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in a superbly synthesized calcium base grease.
Composed of high-quality mineral lubricating oil, this grease is meticulously formulated with medium viscosity and skillfully thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap, ensuring superior performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The formation of hydrates by calcium soap and water is crucial, as only in this form can calcium soap create highly dispersed fibers within the mineral oil. However, these hydrates hydrolyze at about 100 ºC, causing calcium base grease to lose its consistency beyond this temperature, therefore limiting its operational temperature range to generally not exceeding 60 ºC. Surpassing this temperature results in softening and potential loss of lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its remarkable water resistance, calcium base grease does not easily emulsify or deteriorate when exposed to water, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical parts in wet conditions or environments where water contact occurs.
(3) Boasting excellent shearing stability and thixotropy stability, this grease remains firmly in place even after agitation, maintaining its position on the action surface to provide a strong sealing effect without dispersing.
(4) The short fiber and low strength limit of calcium base grease enhance its pumping performance. This ensures smooth application, even when achieving identical consistency with the same mineral oil.
Compared to other soap-based greases, such as those based on sodium or aluminum, calcium-based grease is significantly easier to bind, thus offering enhanced efficiency and performance.
Despite being introduced in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally prevalent choice. It is perfect for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings at medium speed and load in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, as well as in industries like metallurgy and textile machinery.

We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
