CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Our Low Moisture Calcined Coke is meticulously crafted by subjecting premium raw "green" petroleum coke to rotary kilns, where it undergoes rigorous heating
to temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192
to 2460 Fahrenheit). These elevated temperatures are essential for eliminating excess moisture, extracting residual hydrocarbons, and refining the crystalline structure of the coke. This transformation yields a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours, the calcined petroleum coke cools from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and transport to storage silos or direct shipment via containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
