Calcium Base Grease Derived from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, our calcium base grease is expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap, resulting in a synthesis that's engineered for top-tier performance.
This superior grease is crafted using medium viscosity mineral lubricating oil, thickened with precision using synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for optimal efficiency.
Performance Characteristics
(1) Thanks to the unique formation of hydrates between calcium soap and water, calcium soap can only form highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil while in hydrate form. However, at about 100 ºC these hydrates begin to hydrolyze, causing the calcium base grease to lose its consistency beyond this temperature threshold. As a result, the effective temperature range is generally capped at 60 ºC, beyond which the grease may soften or diminish, compromising lubrication.
(2) Calcium base grease boasts exceptional water resistance, resisting emulsification and deterioration even when exposed to water, making it ideal for lubricating mechanical components in moist environments or those with water contact.
(3) Renowned for its excellent shearing and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease remains steadfast on surfaces even after agitation, effectively sealing and preventing undesired expulsion.
(4) With its short fiber structure and low strength limit, calcium base grease exhibits superior pumping performance. When matched with the same mineral oil and consistency, it surpasses other grease types, like sodium-based or aluminum-based, in ease of binding.
Making it easier to maintain a consistent form, calcium-based grease stands out compared to other soap-based greases, ensuring reliability and performance.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains globally popular for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings at moderate speeds and loads in small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, vehicles, metallurgical equipment, and textile machinery.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
