Premium Calcined Petroleum Coke
The production of our calcined petroleum coke begins with the meticulous selection of high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke, which is then introduced to state-of-the-art rotary kilns. Here, it is subjected to intense heating in a controlled environment, reaching temperatures soaring between 1200
and 1350 degrees C (2192 to 2460 F). These elevated temperatures effectively eliminate any surplus moisture and eradicate remaining hydrocarbons, while
simultaneously transforming the crystalline structure of the coke. This process enhances its density and electrical conductivity, producing a superior product in just a few hours.
Once calcined petroleum coke undergoes this rigorous heating process, it is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees C to a safe temperature below 200 degrees C, allowing it to be handled with ease and
seamlessly transported to storage silos, or shipped directly in containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels, ensuring efficient distribution.
---- Calcined petroleum coke serves as a critical component with its primary roles in the production of prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum processes. It is indispensable for carbonizers in the carbon industry, integral in the manufacturing of graphite electrodes, essential in the smelting of industrial silicon, and utilized as a fuel.

Application:
1.Metallurgy: casting for glass production, graphite crucibles, and essential anodes for the aluminium smelting industry.
2.Steel Foundry: acts as a carburant, vital for graphite electrodes, and serves as a refractory material.
3.Industry Field: used in brake pads, seal rings, friction plates, heat exchangers, and for enhancing lubricity.
4.Battery Production: crucial for alkaline and lithium-ion battery cathodes.
5.Others: applicable for glass sheets, pencil leads, clay bricks, and conductive coatings.
In the realm of casting, be it cast iron or cast steel, achieving the right carbon level is crucial. By utilizing carburants, one can augment the carbon content in liquid iron effectively. Commonly employed in smelting furnace charges involving pig iron, scrap steel, or return charges, the high carbon content in iron makes it costly to purchase. By incorporating scrap supplies and reducing pig iron usage, while increasing carbon agents, there is potential for casting cost reduction, providing an economical solution.
Calcined Petroleum Coke is predominantly utilized in metallurgy and foundry settings. It aids in augmenting the carbon content during steel melting and casting processes. Moreover, it facilitates an increase in scrap steel usage while minimizing pig iron reliance, potentially eliminating the necessity for scrap iron altogether. Additionally, it finds application in brake pedals and friction materials, showcasing its versatile utility.
