Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, expertly thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap. This synthesis creates a robust Calcium base grease,
formulated from mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, enhanced by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for superior performance.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique property of calcium soap is its ability to form hydrates with water, allowing it to create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. However, these hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, causing the grease to lose its consistency at temperatures exceeding 100 ºC. Therefore, calcium base grease is optimally used below 60 ºC. Beyond this, it may soften or lose its effectiveness, compromising lubrication.
(2) Renowned for its exceptional water resistance, calcium base grease does not easily emulsify or degrade in the presence of water. This makes it ideal for lubricating mechanical components exposed to damp environments or direct water contact.
(3) With outstanding shearing and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease remains steadfast on surfaces even after vigorous agitation, providing a reliable sealing effect without splatter.
(4) The short fiber structure and low strength limit grant calcium base grease excellent pumping performance. When paired with the same mineral oil and
achieving similar consistency, it's more readily bindable compared to other soap-based greases like sodium-based or aluminum-based options.
Despite being a classic from the 1930s, calcium-based grease continues to be a go-to choice globally. It's perfect for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings under moderate speed and load in small to medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, and machinery in metallurgy and textiles.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
